Challenge Yourself with Our San Diego Rock Climbing Gym!

Rock climbing is arguably one of the best all-around workouts.
It uses combination of dynamic movements as well as isometric muscle contractions (keeping muscles flexed for a long time) to develop lean, toned muscles (common in marathon runners).
Rock climbing is for anyone who enjoys a challenge. People tend to think upper body strength is what is required for rock climbing. In truth, it involves primarily the lower body and muscles that make up the core.
At Downtown Fitness San Diego we can teach anyone the techniques needed to make it to the top of our wall. We will also teach you the necessary safety knowledge to go on to climb and explore on your own.
